'A cinematic experience with psychedelically spatial insertions and moments of total explosion. Paul Baird, with Just Everywhere, has created an eloquently intense work that must be tasted without haste and with extreme attention, so that all the nuances and their details are absorbed.' The Blog That Celebrates Itself

'We've been a tad taken with the feedback noise pop swoon of the bliss traced C-86 styled fizzy psych of Just Everywhere's, ‘This Is What We Do with the Horses', which simultaneously manages to cut a dash in sounding like a pure distillation of classic era Jesus and Mary Chain freebasing on a Creation era Telescopes.' The Sunday Experience

'Manchester has provided an abundance of musical talent over the years. Besides the big-hitters and cult icons, there's always been the hidden gems just below the surface. Such as dream-pop combo I See Angels, led by prolific songwriter Paul Baird who was busy releasing his solo EP's last year under the guise of Just Everywhere. Collecting those EP's and adding additional tracks, he's now released his debut album 'Silk of Stars' on Ramber Records. 'Silk of Stars' exists within the same dream-like realm as I SEE ANGELS, but as an invitation to spend the night in its enchanted forest. The Jesus & Mary Chain fuzz of opener 'This Is What We Do With The Horses', acts as the crossing of the threshold, before a magical ambience is created with piano driven pieces such as 'Everything Else Went Out Of Her Head' and 'Slow Parade', creating the illusion of watching the stars unfold across the sky, whilst listening to the life within the trees. Running as if a collection of lo-fi, cinematic interludes, excerpts and snapshots of this new found place, with the journey culminating in the operatic closer 'Stay Just Where You Are'; the album gives the sense of self discovery from the artist. Something that is often lacking in solo efforts, that are mere cash cows or simply passing the time. Paul Baird has clearly got a head for ideas, and the talent to convey them. 'Silk of Stars' is a wonderful piece of imaginative escapism.' Ben Barry/Explosions in Sound

'I See Angels singer Paul Baird and his debut album, Silk of Stars, released, under the name Just Everywhere, on Ramber Records... Silk of Stars jumbles digitally corrupted dream-pop with the aching hum of ambience and heavy guitar scree. Strewn liberally into the mix come several piano-led bouts of songwriting, reverbed vocal loops and fragile harmonies surging alongside pretty instrumentals, samples and captures that all help push Silk of Stars out to left-field. An aggressive acid eats away at the running order throughout, threatening its very existence in places. The tracks play urgently as a result, totemic slabs of lo-fi shoegaze noise periodically running riot with distortion pedals and protesting guitar squeal. These are songs that go everywhere and swell to be everywhere. Baird’s swooning vocal is instantly recognisable across them all. Stumble into their mists and you may not find your way out.' [sic] Magazine

'Just Everywhere is the work of just one man, Paul Baird, and Silk Of Stars is his debut release under the name, the album was released via Ramber Records earlier this month and is now available on limited edition cassette, although you’ll be lucky if there are any left by the time you read this, and digital formats. Silk Of Stars is an incredibly diverse collection of experimental shoegaze and indie with dreamy middles, corrupted dream pop and ambient moments that sit alongside noisy peaks and heavily distorted guitar riffs to create an album that defies description. Silk Of Stars is an unpredictable fifteen track opus, it opens with a noisy distorted feedback laced track, This Is What We Do With The Horses, that recalls Psychocandy era Jesus And Mary Chain, but from here on in it’s a rollercoaster that veers between atmospheric shoegaze influenced indie, poignant piano led instrumentals and melancholy moments before it kicks back into a moment of scuzzy distorted rock ‘n roll with If You Do This, You Will Be Dead To Me, and then we’re off again into an unpredictable patchwork of styles and influences that defies categorisation. Just Everywhere have released an album that contains a diverse and almost haphazard mix of styles, there will be no surprises that I prefer the noisier moments on the album, the two aforementioned tracks and the wonderfully titled You Will Live On A Beach And Smoke Pot are the stand out moments for me, but when you consider that Silk Of Stars is now available for streaming, or for purchase for the price of half a pint, you really have nothing to lose by giving Just Everywhere a spin. Whilst I doubt there’s anyone who will love all of Silk Of Stars I’m confident that there will be something on this unique album for pretty much everyone.' The Punk Site
